Our First Exhibition : Fading Blue
11/08/2025~11/26/2025
The first Fading Blue exhibition was organized by a group of students passionate about using art to communicate environmental issues. Fading Blue is an exhibition that showcases both the beauty and the fragility of the ocean. Once full of color and life, the ocean today faces increasing threats from plastic pollution, climate change, and environmental degradation.
Through mixed-media artworks created by young artists, the exhibition ranges from vivid seascapes to visual portrayals of plastic waste and marine pollution. These works highlight the contrast between what we admire about the ocean and what we risk losing.
By turning environmental science into visual expression, Fading Blue encourages viewers to confront the hidden realities of ocean pollution and reflect on the future of marine ecosystems.
Impact
The exhibition welcomed over 100 visitors and included conversations with the public about ocean pollution and clean water.
Through the event, the group also raised over $300 in donations, which were contributed to the The Ocean Cleanup to support efforts to reduce plastic pollution.
